The role focuses on maintenance, safety, and resident satisfaction across residential units, with on-site responsibilities and occasional on-call duties. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, and drywall work, coordinate with vendors, and ensure OSHA compliance while upholding the property’s quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and building codes.
• EPA 608 Universal certification or ability to obtain.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Yardi.
• Must have work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential units (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Inspect and repair appliances; coordinate with vendors for replacements.
• Paint and drywall repairs to maintain appearance.
• Repair and replace flooring as needed; ensure safety and aesthetics.
• Prepare units for apartment turns and maintain maintenance shop inventory.
• Conduct safety inspections and respond to emergencies; on-call duties.
• Ensure OSHA compliance; on-site duties in common areas with residents.
