Job summary

Rose Associates is seeking a highly motivated Residential Property Handyperson to join our on-site team in New Jersey. You will perform routine maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs to ensure resident comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, on-call duties, coordinating with vendors, maintaining an orderly maintenance shop, and adhering to OSHA standards. EPA 608 certifications or eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 Universal certification or eligibility.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Yardi software.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on residential units including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair appliances; coordinate with vendors for replacements.
• Paint, drywall, flooring, and prep units for turns.
• Conduct safety inspections and be on-call for emergencies.
