Job summary

KETTLER is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Coda on H, Washington, DC. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and covers general maintenance, repairs in apartments and buildings, and responsive service to residents.

Compensation is $26.00/hour with a robust benefits package including paid time off, health/dental/vision, life insurance, prescription coverage, HSA/FSA, and a 401(k) with company match. Must be within 30 minutes of the property and hold a valid license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment, hotel, or facilities maintenance experience with HVAC, appliance, electrical, and plumbing repair.
• EPA/CFC Type I & II certifications preferred and must be obtained within 90 days from date of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and residence within 30 minutes of the property.
• Outstanding customer service with timely, accurate resident responses.
• Willingness to take after-hours calls; nights and weekends on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple residential service requests daily.
• Respond to maintenance requests within HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair; escalate to supervisor or contractor as needed.
• Participate in all maintenance projects and turn-over repairs for market-ready units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all systems at the property.
• Carry out general repairs to property grounds, apartments, and building exteriors.
• Provide courteous resident interactions, addressing questions and complaints with urgency.
• Other duties as assigned.
