Job summary

KETTLER is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician in Arlington, VA to handle maintenance, repairs, and Make-Ready tasks across apartments and buildings. You will respond to resident service requests, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues, and support budgets and admin tasks.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience, EPA/CFC certification, strong hands-on repair skills, and a valid driver’s license. On-call shifts nights/weekends apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Universal EPA/CFC Certification required.
• Mastery of appliance, electrical and plumbing repair.
• Strong understanding of HVAC repair.
• Valid Driver’s License and live within 30 minutes of the property.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• On-call duties including nights and weekends on a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Participating in all maintenance projects.
• Performing general repair of property grounds, apartments, and building exteriors.
• Supporting the Maintenance Manager with budgets and other administrative tasks.
• Responding to resident requests for maintenance and service with troubleshooting and timely repair.
• Preventive maintenance on all property systems.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments and move-ins.
• Demonstrate customer service by respectful interaction and efficient work orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
