Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice in Lafayette, LA is hiring for a Full-Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate in-home care during 7 on/7 off rotations in the Lafayette area.

You will conduct patient visits at home, coordinate with families, maintain EMR documentation, and participate in a robust benefits package including ESOP ownership and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in the State of Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
• Make patient visits at their place of residence
• 7 days on 7 days off call rotation 4:30 pm-8 am
• Knowledge of EMR is required
• Previous Home Health or Hospice experience needed
• Compassionate RN with great time management skills
• 50-70 mile driving radius

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home nursing visits to patients in Lafayette area
• Coordinate with patients' families and healthcare teams
• Document all care and update patient records in EMR
