Job summary

St Joseph Hospice is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to cover Lafayette, LA. The role involves home visits, patient assessments, and coordination with the care team during a seven-on/seven-off rotation. The position supports ESOP participation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualified candidates will hold an active Louisiana RN license, CPR certification, and have experience in home health or hospice settings. EMR proficiency and strong time management are required.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Louisiana.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must make patient visits at residences.
• Home health or hospice experience preferred.
• Strong time management and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call nursing coverage in Lafayette, LA.
• Make scheduled home visits to patients.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other clinicians.
• Utilize EMR to document patient encounters.

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse RN license in the State of Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
• Make patient visits at their place of residence
• 7 days on 7 days off call rotation 430 pm 8 am
• Knowledge of EMR is required
• Previous Home Health or Hospice experience needed
• Compassionate RN with great time management skills
• 50 70 mile driving radius
