Job summary

St Joseph Hospice in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Full Time On Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate in-home hospice care within a 50–70 mile radius. The role includes 7 days on, 7 days off call, 4:30 pm–8:00 am shifts, and EMR documentation.

Requirements include an active Louisiana RN license and CPR certification; prior Home Health or Hospice experience is preferred. Competitive pay with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
• Home Health or Hospice experience preferred
• Knowledge of EMR required
• Willingness to travel 50–70 miles radius
• 7 days on 7 days off call rotation (430 pm–8 am)

Responsibilities

• Make patient visits at patients' residences
• On-call rotation 7 on/7 off
• Coordinate with care team in home hospice
• Document and update patient records in EMR

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse RN license in the State of Louisiana
• Current CPR certification
