Job summary

St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Full-Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care at home within a 50–70 mile radius. The role features a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation from 4:30 pm to 8:00 am and requires active Louisiana RN license and CPR certification.

EMR experience is required, and prior home health or hospice involvement is preferred. The job includes competitive pay and comprehensive benefits through an ESOP company structure.

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana RN license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in Home Health or Hospice preferred.
• EMR knowledge required.
• Must be able to visit patients at their residences.
• Must be willing to participate in 7 days on, 7 days off call rotation (4:30 pm–8:00 am).
• 50–70 mile driving radius preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make patient visits at patients' residences.
• Provide on-call nursing support during assigned shifts.
• Use EMR to document care and updates.
• Coordinate with care team and family members.
