Job summary

Washington Soldiers Home in Orting, WA, seeks an On-Call Registered Nurse 2 to support skilled nursing care for veterans. Under RN3 supervision, you will administer medications, perform assessments, document care, and guide NAC staff to ensure dignified daily living and compliance with nursing standards.

This on-call role requires four full shifts per month, with additional shift premiums for 24/7 facilities, and a commitment to safety, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Washington State RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain healthcare records according to policies.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Maintain incident log and provide feedback to staff on incidents.
• Support residents to meet daily living needs with dignity and respect.
• Communicate effectively with staff and residents to ensure safety and quality care.
• Perform nursing assessments and contribute to care plans.
