Job summary

Washington Soldiers Home, a WDVA facility, is seeking a Nursing Assistant Certified for full-time, permanent night shifts. You will support skilled nursing care for Veterans, participate in care planning, and ensure high-quality daily living assistance under RN/LPN supervision.

Eligibility requires WA CNA licensure and OBRA status, with ability to lift 60 lbs and pass background checks. This role is onsite at WDVA homes in Orting and surrounding locations.

Qualifications

• Current valid Washington State license to practice as a Nursing Assistant Certified.
• Current active OBRA status.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in the resident’s care plan to improve life and safety.
• Supports and encourages resident involvement in daily activities.
• Accurately records vital signs and data in electronic medical records.
• Observes and reports changes to the Licensed Nurse and documents observations.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed personnel.
