Washington Soldiers Home in Washington State is seeking an on-call Truck Driver 2 to transport residents to medical appointments and daily activities. You will ensure safety, assist with check-in, and help residents during trips.

This on-call role requires flexibility to cover shifts, a valid CDL, English proficiency, and the ability to work with residents and staff in a respectful, patient manner. WDVA offers benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualificações

• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Valid Driver's License and Class C CDL with endorsements as required by state/federal law.
• Ability to obtain CDL prior to hire if not currently held.
• Agency competencies include taking action to learn and meet others' needs.

Responsabilidades

• Transport residents to medical appointments and daily activities.
• Prepare vehicle for safe operation and perform routine inspections.
• Ensure residents are comfortable and assisted during transport and check-in.
• Maintain transportation logs and ensure documentation is secured.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and refueling as needed.
