Job summary

Homelake Veterans Community Living Center seeks a Nurse II to provide nursing and administrative oversight for a nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. You will mentor staff, coordinate care shifts, and maintain comprehensive electronic health records for residents.

This role requires a current Colorado RN license and BLS/CPR certification. Two years of related nursing experience are expected.

Qualifications

BLS/CPR and Colorado RN license are required.
Active RN license in Colorado or eNLC status is acceptable.
Minimum two years of professional nursing experience in an applicable field.

Responsibilities

Perform admission and daily assessments and develop care plans.
Safely administer routine and specialized nursing interventions including IV therapy.
Direct, delegate, and prioritize daily assignments for RN/LPN/CNA staff.
Orient new employees and provide coaching and performance feedback.
Maintain accurate, timely resident records in the EHR (MAR/TAR).
Ensure adherence to regulations and infection control practices.
Collaborate with Director of Nursing and House Supervisors to maintain unit care excellence.
Operate a State vehicle for off-site assessments when required.
Pursue ongoing education to maintain clinical expertise and regulatory knowledge.
