Job summary

HRI Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the property's electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and painting conditions across Mid City Lofts and Woodring Apartments in Louisiana. Responsibilities include completing maintenance requests promptly, and participating in preventive maintenance programs for building equipment and rooms.

Qualifications

HVAC certification preferred.
Residential/apartment maintenance experience preferred.
General residential maintenance skills required: A/C, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, electronics, drywall installation, and finishing.

Responsibilities

Maintain general maintenance of the exterior and interior of the property building
Complete work orders promptly, including on-call requests
Demonstrate the ability to resolve maintenance issues to prevent a recurrence
Maintain inventory to ensure materials, supplies, and equipment are available on-site
Inspect and test machinery and maintenance equipment
Maintain a clean and safe environment; report unsafe conditions to the supervisor and recommend corrective action
Partner with external vendors, contractors, and other maintenance team members on special projects
Perform other duties as assigned
