Job summary

HRI Properties in Donaldsonville, LA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for the interior and exterior of the Lemann Building. The role covers electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and painting tasks, with timely work orders and preventive maintenance participation.

The position offers a $500 sign-on bonus and requires on-call readiness, with a focus on safe, high-quality upkeep of residential spaces.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred.
• Residential/apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• General residential maintenance skills: A/C, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, electronics, drywall, finishing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general maintenance of the exterior and interior of the property building
• Complete work orders promptly, including on-call requests
• Demonstrate the ability to resolve maintenance issues to prevent a recurrence
• Maintain inventory to ensure materials, supplies, and equipment are available on-site
• Inspect and test machinery and maintenance equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; report unsafe conditions to the supervisor and recommend corrective action
• Partner with external vendors, contractors, and other maintenance team members on special projects
• Perform other duties as assigned
