Job summary

DIMARCO STAFFING LLC seeks a maintenance technician to oversee daily property upkeep and the physical asset. You will respond to service requests, perform make-readies for vacant units, and support 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage.

Applicants should have electrical, plumbing, and drywall experience, with boiler knowledge preferred. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and basic tools are required. On-site work includes grounds upkeep and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• General experience in electrical, plumbing, and drywall work.
• Boiler experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and basic day-to-day tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day operations and the property’s physical asset.
• Complete maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Interact professionally with residents, vendors, contractors, and staff.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments.
• Provide a 24-hour emergency maintenance presence as scheduled.
• Handle resident service requests and work orders within 24 hours when possible.
• Ensure make-ready repairs are completed on schedule and correctly.
• Identify and correct unsafe conditions and keep the property clean and presentable.
• Maintain records for preventative maintenance, service requests, and status of make-ready work.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisor of shortages with details.
• Operate a plow truck and plow when required.
• Be available on-call with a cell phone as needed.
• Perform grounds patrol including trash pickup, lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, and playground maintenance.
