Job summary

The Galman Group is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our Newark, Delaware community. The ideal candidate will be organized, possess a strong maintenance background, and perform routine tasks, repairs, make-readies, and upkeep of common areas and units.

You will work to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, adhere to company policies, and respond to maintenance requests with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Owns personal tools and a reliable vehicle.
• Experience in building maintenance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance and repairs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Perform routine make‑readies and upkeep of common areas and units.
• Ensure safety protocols and compliance with laws and company policies.
• Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with supervisor for major repairs.
• Assist in snow removal and removal/transfer of heavy items as needed.
