Job summary

Galman Group is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our Newark, DE team. You will be responsible for routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and make-readies to ensure clean, safe, and inviting communities for residents.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety compliance, plus access to your own tools and a reliable vehicle. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain all common areas and units.

Qualifications

• Requires thorough maintenance experience and ability to perform repairs and make-readies.
• Knowledge of EPA/OSHA regulations and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Must be organized, able to manage multiple tasks, and work with safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all building systems and equipment.
• Inspect property condition and address unsafe conditions promptly.
• Assist with renovations, make-readies, and turnover of units.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor on repairs and supplies.
