Galman Group in New Castle, Delaware seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair residential properties, ensure safety, and support make-readies for new residents. You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general carpentry, perform preventive maintenance, manage inventory, and comply with EPA/OSHA safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience required.
• On-call shifts required.
• Owns personal tools and reliable vehicle.
• HVAC certification and experience preferred.
• Plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Must wear safety equipment and follow safety rules.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Basic computer and web-based applications knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliances.
• Repair and make-readies for units and common areas.
• Conduct safety checks and respond to hazardous conditions.
• Maintain inventory of parts; request replenishments.
• Assist in snow removal and grounds upkeep.
• Coordinate with senior maintenance technician and manager on major repairs.
• Operate and maintain safety systems and meters.
• Carry out make-ready repairs and service per schedule.
• Follow company policies and safety rules at all times.
