Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support operating room procedures. You will prepare sterile supplies, maintain the sterile field, and hand instruments to surgeons during cases.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years' experience (surgical setting preferred).
• Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (AST/NBSTSA).
• Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in generalized surgical specialties (GYN, general, plastics).
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• The Certified Operating Room Tech is responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure.
• Maintain sterile field during case and provide surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures.
