Job summary

Piper's Pointe in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks a Property Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of upkeep tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and general maintenance. You will address tenant requests, maintain systems, and ensure safety and curb appeal of the property.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, timely repairs, recordkeeping, and coordination with property management. On-site, full-time with on-call shifts and a generous benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven maintenance experience in property or building maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair diverse systems independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC filter changes, plumbing inspections, and electrical checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly.
• Address tenant maintenance requests effectively and prioritise urgent issues.
• Repair or replace doors, windows, cabinets and other wood fixtures; patch and paint surfaces.
• Install or repair flooring materials (tile, laminate, carpet, hardwood).
• Maintain exterior areas: lawns, gardens, parking lots, walkways; seasonal snow removal.
• Inspect property systems for safety hazards and code compliance.
• Maintain accurate work orders, repairs, and materials records; communicate with management.
