Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Engineer to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and facility equipment to maximize efficiency and life expectancy. The role emphasizes energy-conscious maintenance, safe practices, and proactive repairs across electrical, plumbing, and production systems.

You will perform preventive and repair work orders, manage inspections, and document work in CMMS while coordinating with site teams and ensuring minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days).
• 4+ years of building engineering experience with HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and related equipment maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting commercial refrigeration a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair work orders on facility systems and equipment.
• Operate and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and production equipment.
• Familiarize with equipment and proper usage for daily activities.
• Conduct inspections and due diligence on conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
• Update work orders and submit receipts daily.
• Utilize CMMS systems for all work performed.
