Qualifications

• One (1) year full-time experience or training in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience with most current year in present department.
• BS/BA in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology, or Associates degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation from IERF; US-educated candidates must provide transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in all areas of testing and troubleshoot instruments/procedures.
• Support quality control, troubleshooting, customer support, instrument maintenance, and training.
• Perform and report analytical tests per SOPs with quality control compliance.
• Adhere to lab safety, specimen handling, and record-keeping procedures.
• Enter results into LIS for standardized physician reports.
• Maintain lab areas and equipment in safe, functional condition.
