Quest Diagnostics is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist II in Edison, NJ for an on-call day shift at JFK hospital. This position performs moderate to high complexity testing with independent judgment and adheres to SOPs and quality control requirements.

Pay range is $32.00 - $50.73 per hour. Salary offers may include annual performance bonus and 401(k) with company match after one month to one year of service, depending on eligibility.

Qualifications

• One (1) year full-time experience or training (high complexity testing) in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience with most current year in present department.
• Associates Degree Laboratory Science or Medical Technology preferred; Bachelor's degree preferred while licensure standards apply.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate proficiency in testing and troubleshoot instruments/procedures.
• Support quality control, problem solving, and process improvement.
• Perform analytical tests per SOPs and maintain quality control.
• Enter results into LIS for standardized reporting to physicians.
• Maintain safe, clean laboratory environment and complete training/competency checks.
