Job summary

Marsden Services, L.L.C. in Houston, TX seeks a Property Maintenance Technician Level II or III to perform maintenance, repairs and preventive tasks across a single property.

You will complete work safely, on time, and communicate clearly with residents, vendors, and management. This role requires hands-on skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry, the ability to schedule and prioritize work orders within 48 hours, and to train newer technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent preferred.
• 4+ years multi-family or commercial building maintenance experience.
• Intermediate computer skills (emails, hours entry, Excel).
• Own hand tools listed in job posting; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to meet standards and laws.
• Schedule, prioritize, and ensure timely completion (48 hours) of all work orders.
• Complete basic repairs related to HVAC, electrical, carpentry, fixtures, plumbing, appliances, and windows.
• Assist in prioritizing work orders and monitoring maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Conduct site-level preventative maintenance inspections and duties.
• Prepare vacant units as assigned and work with vendors on maintenance projects.
