Avanti Residential at Highlands Lodge, a 230-unit community in Overland Park, KS, seeks a Service Technician. You will perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs to prepare units for new residents and maintain property conditions. Must be available for on-call emergencies and after-hours tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification expected or preferred.
• CAMT and CPO certifications are a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Aware of property conditions and report unsafe issues immediately.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report emergencies promptly.
• Handle 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call duties.
• Perform grounds upkeep and basic landscaping tasks when feasible.
