Job summary

Avanti Residential in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking a Service Technician to keep our community's appearance and operations in excellent condition, inside and out. You will prepare units for move-ins, handle a variety of repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), update logs, and respond to after-hours emergencies.

The role requires a High School diploma, 1+ year experience, and relevant certifications; on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Aware of the condition of the property at all times and take immediate steps to correct unsafe conditions, including reporting any safety concerns.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed and report any emergency work orders in a timely manner.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities.
• Complete grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping when possible.
