Avanti Residential is hiring a Service Technician for Overlook at Sunset Point, a 430-unit community in Layton, UT. The role covers upkeep of units and exteriors, on-call shifts, and timely completion of work orders to keep the property in excellent condition.

You will support electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks, respond to after-hours emergencies, and contribute to safety and operations daily. Competitive benefits accompany this full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred
• CAMT certification preferred
• CPO certification preferred for properties where applicable
• Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license and up-to-date vehicle insurance required.
• Wonderlic pre-employment assessment required

Responsabilités

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Maintain awareness of property condition and report safety concerns immediately.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report emergencies promptly.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call support.
• Perform grounds cleanup and basic landscaping when possible.
