Job summary

Avanti Residential is seeking a Service Technician for Sunset Peak community. You will prepare units for move-ins, perform maintenance requests, and respond to after-hours emergencies, ensuring property appearance and operations meet high standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of relevant experience, with OSHA/EPA/CPO certifications preferred. Excellent communication and customer service are essential to collaborate with residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• OSHA, EPA, and CPO license/certifications preferred.
• Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
• Wonderlic pre-employment assessment required if minimum qualifications met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report emergencies promptly.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities.
• Complete grounds upkeep and light landscaping where possible.
• Manage snow removal or hurricane prep as applicable.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and professional communication with residents, vendors and team members.
