Job summary

Avanti Residential is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the Overlook at Sunset Point community. You will prepare units for move-ins, perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related repairs, and handle after-hours on-call maintenance to keep the property in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
• CAMT certification preferred but not required.
• CPO certification preferred for properties where applicable.
• Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and up-to-date vehicle insurance is required.
• Wonderlic pre-employment assessment arrival by email if minimum qualifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Aware of the property condition at all times and address unsafe conditions; report safety concerns to the Service/Community Manager.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed; report emergencies promptly.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call duties.
• Complete grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping when possible.
