Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team at a Sacramento property. The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, effective communication, and proactive maintenance across apartments and common areas.

The ideal candidate will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-ready preparations for new move-ins, while following safety standards and company policies. A valid driver’s license is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to perform make-ready tasks for vacant units.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles (golf cart where required).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Performs make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and punch lists.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Supports cost-control by using parts efficiently and proper tool usage.
• Attends safety meetings and may inspect contractor work for quality and compliance.
