Woda Cooper is seeking a Service Technician for Rutherford Crossing in Cherryville, NC. You will perform general and emergency maintenance, including cleaning, repairs, and turnover tasks to ensure a welcoming apartment community.

Responsibilities include proactive maintenance, safety compliance, and effective use of maintenance software while on-call for after-hours needs. A high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license are required; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of general plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to read repair manuals and follow instructions.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and safe work practices.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED; English literacy required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and emergency maintenance of apartments and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal; assist with turnover of apartments.
• Identify maintenance problems and safety hazards; address or escalate appropriately.
• Complete OSHA10 training and participate in required inspections.
• Utilize company databases and software for work orders and documentation.
• Be on-call for emergencies after hours, weekends, holidays, or as assigned.
• Maintain a professional appearance and comply with safety policies.
