Job summary

Marsden Services, L.L.C., is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician at our New Orleans, LA site. The role performs repairs, preventive maintenance, and unit preparation with a focus on safety and timely completion of work orders.

Shifts run 10am–3pm, 25 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities and deployment bonuses. Candidates should have a technical background and strong communication skills to coordinate with residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 80 lbs with assistance.
• Experience in multi-family or commercial building maintenance.
• Strong communication and time-management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to meet standards.
• Schedule and ensure 48-hour turnaround on all work orders.
• Complete basic repairs to HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and fixtures.
• Collaborate with vendors and mentor new technicians.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies for the workshop.
