Job summary

Hubbell Realty Company is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician for the Federal Point community. The role involves ensuring apartment readiness, participating in after-hours on-call with a company vehicle, and collaborating with Property Managers on bids and repairs.

The position requires hands-on maintenance experience, a strong service mindset, and flexibility to cover some weekends. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced property management environment.

Qualifications

• Passionate about exceptional service with a leadership mindset.
• Drive, excellent communication, and willingness to get hands dirty.
• Attention to detail; flexible with a schedule, including some weekend coverage.
• General maintenance experience; knowledge of appliance repair, light carpentry, plumbing and electrical.

Responsibilities

• Review make-ready checklists to ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Participate in after-hours emergency on-call with company vehicle during rotation.
• Obtain bids and negotiate prices for repairs with Property Managers.
• Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.
