Job summary

Heritage Properties is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Technician to ensure upkeep and functionality of our properties and apartments. You will collaborate with property managers, leasing agents, and other technicians to address repair requests and maintain safety and cleanliness.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general systems, with a focus on timely completion of work orders and professional communication with residents and contractors.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Address repair requests and perform routine inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of buildings.
• Complete work orders within 24-48 hours.
• Complete apartment turnovers within 7 days of move-out, including painting and turnover cleaning.
• Communicate professionally with residents, colleagues, and contractors.
• Proactively inspect buildings and identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team and assist other technicians; share knowledge.
• Manage 24/7 on-call rotation; respond to emergency repairs after hours.
