Job summary

YES Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, well-maintained, and fully stocked with necessary supplies. You will interact with residents and ensure timely completion of service requests and inspections, while supporting asset upkeep and on-site operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and clear communication with residents, vendors, and management. A valid driver’s license and prior refurbishment or trade experience are preferred; OSHA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• OSHA trainings or certifications are a plus.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing and pool operation experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory via preventative maintenance and make-ready work.
• Keep grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and safe.
• Complete work promptly while upholding safety standards.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls per on-call schedule.
• Read water meters and identify leaks within the community.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with new home delivery and setup; report warranty work.
• Deliver notices as requested by management.
• Attend team and safety meetings as required.
• Uphold OSHA standards and PPE usage as required by state law.
• Maintain safe winter conditions via snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles according to safety rules.
