Job summary

Palo Alto Apartment Homes, a Vesta community in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle make-readies, respond to service requests quickly, and help maintain safety, appearance, and operations across our property.

You will work on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and other trades with a focus on timely, quality workmanship. On-call nights and weekends are required, and a valid driver’s license is needed to support

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in apartment maintenance or property management.
• Apartment community experience required.
• Working knowledge of drywall, lock changes, light electrical, carpentry, flooring, plumbing; HVAC strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site maintenance tasks to ensure safety, appearance and operations.
• Respond quickly to resident service requests and complete work orders.
• Make ready apartments within 3–5 days of vacancy, including cleaning, painting, flooring and touch-ups.
