Port Royal Apartment Homes, a Vesta community in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an affordable housing experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.

You will perform maintenance tasks to keep the property safe, attractive, and operational, respond to service requests quickly, and complete make-readies for move-ins. On-call, nights and weekends are required. Opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Affordable housing experience preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance experience required.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned maintenance tasks to meet safety, appearance, and operational standards.
• Respond quickly to resident service requests and close work orders.
• Complete make-ready punch lists and ensure vacant units are move-in ready.
• Assist with on-call duties including nights and weekends.
• May drive a company vehicle as needed.
• Maintain inventory of parts and keep maintenance shop organized.
