Job summary

Capstone Management is seeking an experienced maintenance technician in San Antonio, TX to handle service requests, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks for vacant units. The role requires coordinating with vendors, maintaining inventory, and ensuring timely documentation.

A valid driver’s license and AC certification are preferred, with a flexible, on-call schedule and a focus on cost-effective repairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of apartment maintenance.
• Technical/other training.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• AC Certification I and II.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Maintains inventory by tracking items, returning unused supplies, and notifying supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools efficiently.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Willing to work flexible schedules and on-call.
• Promotes a positive image of the apartment community and management company.
