Job summary

Port Royal Apartment Homes, a Vesta community in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain safety, appearance, and operations. You’ll respond quickly to resident requests, complete make-readies, and support on-call coverage nights and weekends.

Facility upkeep includes plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and electrical systems across a multi-unit property. Ideal candidates have hands-on maintenance experience in affordable housing, with strong reliability and attention to

Qualifications

Experience in affordable housing environments.
Hands-on maintenance experience with property grounds and units.
Willingness to respond to on-call emergencies and after-hours work.
May be required to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Respond quickly to resident service requests and resolve work orders.
Complete apartment make-readies and ensure move-in readiness.
On-call emergencies, nights, and weekends as needed.
Maintain safety, appearance, and curb appeal of the property.
Assist in maintaining inventory, shop organization, and supplies.
Perform plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, and electrical tasks as required.
Move appliances and assist with loadouts as needed.
