Job summary

Yes! Communities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Corpus Christi to maintain community grounds and assist with home refurbishments. You will respond to service requests, ensure safety and quality, and support new home deliveries as needed.

The role requires interaction with residents, adherence to OSHA standards, and proactive on-call availability to address emergencies and maintenance issues across the community.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry software including the use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete work in a timely manner, upholding quality and safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls per on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and resolve issues within the community.
