Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an on-call Cook to support our culinary team across busy periods and large groups. You will assist in production, maintain safe and clean kitchen practices, and contribute to high-quality food preparation in a dynamic environment.

The role requires 1-3 years in a professional kitchen, flexibility for day/night and weekend shifts, and the ability to stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
• Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Have a desire to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in production and fabrication of food for kitchen, cafeteria, banquet, dining room, and fine dining.
• Maintain a passive leadership role to keep production levels adequate.
• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fry) and various kitchen equipment.
