Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff on an as-needed basis in the United States Midwest region. Responsibilities include setting up serving lines, preparing foods per menu, and maintaining food safety and cleanliness to ensure quality service.

The role requires adherence to recipes, proper operation of kitchen equipment, and routine inventory and sanitation duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at required temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods according to menu and recipes; plan and prep for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO stock and clean storage areas.
• Clean kitchen and cafeteria areas and wash dishes; monitor and maintain sanitation.
