Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support serving lines and food prep on an as-needed basis. Pay rates vary by state and position as the company operates across 10 states in the United States.

Team members will set up serving lines, maintain temperature controls, and assist in baking and batch cooking while upholding HACCP procedures and safety standards. Training and certifications are encouraged as part of role responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Language: ability to read and follow simple instructions.
• Math: basic arithmetic and measurement.
• Reasoning: follow written or verbal instructions in standard tasks.
• Machines/Tools: familiarity with kitchen equipment listed above.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure foods are held at required temperatures.
• Assist in food prep per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO and clean storage areas.
• Clean kitchen and cafeteria areas, equipment, and dishes; monitor inventory.
• Requisition food and supplies through the Kitchen Manager; present baked goods as required.
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation; serve items with correct portions.
• Handle cash register duties and reconcile daily totals; follow timekeeping policy.
• Maintain safety, report unsafe conditions, and participate in required trainings.
