Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking kitchen staff to support daily operations across serving lines and food preparation. In this role you will help with setup, cook per menu plans, and ensure proper food temperatures and presentation for customers.

You will operate standard kitchen equipment, maintain clean work areas, and follow FIFO practices while assisting with inventory and daily records. Prior food service exposure and basic HACCP knowledge are helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one month related experience, training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at required temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain FIFO stock and keep cooler/storage racks clean.
