Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking flexible kitchen staff to support serving lines, food preparation, and daily operations in a cafeteria setting.

You will help set up lines, maintain proper temperatures, and assist with menu planning and preparation under supervision. The role requires adherence to food safety standards, the ability to handle various kitchen tasks, and the capacity to lift and move supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow menus and recipes accurately.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Assist in food preparation according to menu and recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Handle cash register operations and Supervise meal distribution as needed.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and daily food safety logs.
• Record temperatures and ensure proper sanitation and safety practices.
• Attend required meetings and training hours.
