Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to support daily meal service on an as-needed basis. The role covers food prep, line setup, serving, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation.

Responsibilities include following the menu and Opaa! recipes, operating kitchen equipment safely, and ensuring FIFO stock management while upholding brand values and customer hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal patterns per HHFKA/CACFP.
• Maintain HACCP processes with daily/weekly logs.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety and timekeeping policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; practice FIFO for stock.
• Requisition food and supplies through Kitchen Manager; present items attractively.
