Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks reliable kitchen staff to support operations on an as-needed basis across our locations in the United States. You will help set up serving lines, prepare foods per the menu plan, and operate equipment while keeping work areas clean and organized.

Position emphasizes accurate food temperatures, FIFO inventory, and daily production records in line with HACCP and safety policies. Pay varies by state and position, with no fixed schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence
• Basic arithmetic calculations including rate, ratio, and percent
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions and handle basic problems

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines and ensure all food is held at proper temperatures, stock milk coolers
• Assist in menu-based food prep and batch cooking; prep ahead for next day menus
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification
• Keep work areas orderly and stocked; maintain FIFO inventory and cleanness
• Maintain HACCP records and follow safety procedures; monitor temperatures
• Handle administrative tasks like cash handling, paperwork, and daily production records
• Present food items with appealing presentation and hospitality to customers
