LifeMoves is leading the way in housing and services for neighbors experiencing homelessness in Silicon Valley. The First Step for Families in San Mateo seeks a Part Time Residential Service Coordinator to support the on-site program, including safety, client services, and basic operations.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, crisis response, and collaboration with volunteers and staff to help families access housing stability and essential services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2-3 years related experience may substitute for formal education.
• Comfortable using basic technology: phone, messaging, email, MS and Google Suites, databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, supportive crisis response and connect clients to resources.
• Support daily operations by responding to needs from clients, volunteers, donors and visitors.
• Monitor site safety with rounds and cameras; report issues and assist with pest control as needed.
• Manage meals, supplies, inventory, and organized storage.
• Create reports, update shift logs, and participate in meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality, boundaries, and professionalism while supporting clients.
• Assist with welcomes, move-ins/move-outs and documentations; prepare spaces as needed.
