Job summary

LifeMoves Palo Alto provides interim supportive housing and services for neighbors experiencing homelessness. The Residential Service Coordinator helps keep the site safe, welcoming, and running smoothly, responds to client needs, and supports volunteers and donors with empathy and professionalism.

The role emphasizes safety rounds, documentation, and coordinating daily tasks to help clients achieve housing stability and successful transitions.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; 2-3 years of consistent equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
Comfortable using basic technology, including phone, messaging systems, email, Microsoft and Google Suites, and databases.
Demonstrates DEIB commitment, empathy, confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

Provide calm, supportive crisis response and connect clients to appropriate resources as needed.
Support daily operations by responding to needs and questions from clients, volunteers, donors, and visitors.
Monitor site safety through rounds and camera observation and report maintenance or pest issues promptly.
Manage facility meals, supplies, and donations, ensuring proper inventory and storage.
Support team collaboration by creating reports, updating shift logs and attending meetings.
Maintain ethical conduct regarding confidentiality and professionalism while fostering a supportive environment.
