Job summary

Ennoble Care is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse to provide hospice and palliative care in the Cape May, Cumberland, and Atlantic County areas of New Jersey. The role involves in-home patient visits, medication administration, and compassionate support for patients and families.

The ideal candidate holds an NJ RN license, has at least 1 year of RN experience (hospice preferred), and demonstrates strong assessment, organization, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must be licensed in NJ as a Registered Nurse by New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• One year of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Excellent assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization and time-management abilities; know case management.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care.
• Make visits to patients to evaluate condition.
• Provide support and comfort according to patient needs.
• Work with caregivers to ensure quality patient care.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effects.
• Alleviate terminal symptoms and notify doctors as needed.
• Assist patients and families with paperwork; maintain records.
• Offer post-mortem support and help families cope with loss.
